how can i move on knowing you will never be there beside me
all of these memories flood my mind like thousands of photographs so vivid in a dimmly lit room your aura overwhelms.
i can feel you standing beside me holding me up when I can't go on
it was said that everything happens for a reason, but this is beyond my understanding , beyond reason
each day I lie awake thinking about what you could have been, what you would've been.
I could have never been prepared . my whole life leading up this
spent wasting time on my own, never worried about tomorrow.
or what comes next , every moment that I close my eyes from now on
i'm reminded of the past. keeping in mind your dreams. your aspirations. and the values which you held on to through the years. all this I do to make you proud of the person you helped create.
